Open Holiday Data

The public holiday dates behind CalendarPrint.co, as plain JSON files you can use in your own projects. No key, no rate limit, no tracking — they are static files.

How the dates are produced

Wherever a country has a statutory rule, the date is computed — Easter with the Gregorian algorithm, "nth weekday of the month" rules, and each country's weekend-substitution law (US federal: Saturday → Friday before, Sunday → Monday after; UK: next working day, Christmas and Boxing Day as a pair; New Zealand: Mondayisation; South Africa: Sunday → Monday). Only two holidays are table-driven because governments set them each year: Matariki (New Zealand) and Diwali (India), filled in through 2030.

Every list is checked against the official government publication for that country. National holidays only — state, provincial and regional days are excluded on purpose, because a national list is the only one that is correct for everyone.
